Choosing an Urn |
| |
We have a wide
variety of Urns and Keepsakes to be in accordance with your wishes.
We offer a range to suit traditional or perhaps a more modern taste. |
| |
If you are unsure
which remembrance product you would like it may help to look for the
Urn/keepsake that best reflects your loved ones personality? |
|
What size urn will I need? |
| |
When choosing your
urn it is important to think about the volume and size |
| |
Standard size urns
are 3 litres and are suitable for an average adult |
| |
If you only want
to keep a small amount of the ashes perhaps consider one of our
keepsakes |
| |
(Standard size
urns are 3 litres and are suitable for an average adult.) |
|
How to open and close an urn? |
| |
This depends on
the urn that you order. Some of our urns have screw tops whereas
some are glued on once the ashes are placed inside. |
|
Can I seal the urn? |
| |
Yes, you can
permanently seal the urn with a sealant epoxy resin. Simply apply
the epoxy around the rim of the access panel, and then securely
fasten the panel on to the urn. |
|
Who puts the ashes into my urn? |
| |
Your crematorium
or funeral directors will usually hand you the ashes in some type of
container. Within this container the ashes are usually contained in
a plastic bag, we recommend keeping them in the plastic container
and then place them into the urn. |
| |
If you feel
uncomfortable doing this please contact us on 0844 567 9909 we can
arrange to do this on your behalf. Our personnel who handle the
ashes are qualified Funeral Directors holding the Diploma
qualification and members of the British Institute Of Funeral
Directors. |
